The WFL began tracking season statistics beginning the 3rd week of the 2012 regular season.
BATTING AVG
Batting AVG is calculated by [# of Hits / # of At Bats].
The WFL began tracking this stat beginning Week #3 of the 2012 season.
PITCHING STATS
Pitching stats are tabulated for ERA and Strikeouts.
ERA is calculated by [ (# of Earned Runs x 7) / (# of Innings Pitched) ]
RUNS BATTED IN
RBIs are awarded to a batter that puts a ball in play or receives a walk that results in a runner scoring. The exception is for a ball that results in a fielding error...no RBI is awarded to the batter.
ON BASE PCT / SLUGGING PCT
OBP is calculated as [(Hits + Walks) / (At Bats + Walks + Sac)].
Slug Pct is calculated as [(Sin + (2 x Dbl) + (3 x Tr) + (4 x HR)) / At Bats]
OBP is kept only on Female players, while Slug Pct is for Male players.
