WFL Career Stats

The WFL began tracking stats during the 2012 season.  Since then, Stats have become a big part of our league.  Everyone wants to compare their stats with others around the league.

The WFL has compiled weekly stats and posted league leaders since the 2012 season.  Up until now, no effort was made to compile a player's career stats.

Well...that has now been completed.  In a huge off-season project between the 2014 and 2015 seasons, our crack staff of league statisticians pulled together all of the data into one handy spreadsheet.

On this attached spreadsheet...which is available to be downloaded...you will find a tab for each current team complete with player names, full statistics of their participation since the 2012 season to present.

In the spreadsheet, you will find yourself under your most recent / current team.  For example, say a person played on Blue Heat in 2013 and moved over to Big Red for the 2014 season.  You would find yourself in the Big Red stats completed with your full stats from both Blue Heat in 2013 and Big Red in 2014 combined.  I know...pretty freakin' sweet.

If you played during that time, but your team is not a current team, you can find yourself on the 'Various Players' tab.  That tab compiled stats for 2012 FHA Home Savers, 2012 TItans and 2013 Hit-N-Run teams.

In addition, we took the liberty of putting every single player into one full spreadsheet called 'League Batting Comparison'.  This will allow you to stoke your ego as you compare your stats to everyone else that participated in the WFL during the 2012-Present.  We have made these tabs fully queriable by providing filter tabs at the top of each column.  By using the filter tabs you can do many of the following actions:

  • Sort by Batting AVG (from lowest to highest or vice-versa) - compare your BA to stars like Coby Prondecki or Adam Reikowski.

  • Sort by HR to compare who carries the heavy lumber in our league over the past few seasons (hint:  you'd be surprised that the league leader in HR is not a big power hitter...but one of our fastest players in the league).

  • Do the same with RBIs...no surprise to the leader, but very hotly contested stat with many HOF topping the list.

  • Every column is sortable in this fashion, so have fun and let the stats help you trash talk your upcoming opponents for the 2015 season.

Pitchers...don't worry!  I didn't leave you guys out!  We have faithfully tracked pitching performances along with the offensive performances for our league.  We can now proudly give you Career ERA, IP, BB, K and W/L for each pitcher that has ever hurled an official AB.

So now you can finally say, "I am the career leader in strikeouts" and yes, I can actually say that as I am the career leader with a robut 66 K's in league play.  I know...pretty freakin' sweet.

Feel free to sort and compare for yourself:

  • Career ERA...a man of many talents leads the way if you apply a min of 40+ innings.

  • IP...see who the real workhorse is in our league.  Cy Young has nothing on this guy...(hint: he also leads the league in Career HRs...go figure).  I know...pretty freakin' sweet.

  • Figure out who has the most league wins since 2012...you can query that!

Ultimately, the idea is to have fun with your stats and see how you stack up against everyone else.  Great way to pass the time until first pitch in March, 2015!
